A serious report – The Impact Report

The CCIVS Impact Report 2010–2020 was a more serious and research-driven publication — a decade-long review of how International Voluntary Service (IVS) creates impact at individual, community, and organisational levels. I was brought in after the research phase, tasked with shaping the visual concept and structure based on raw data. The challenge was to respect the depth and complexity of the findings while making the report engaging, accessible, and easy to navigate.

Turning ten years of research into something people actually want to read was no small task.

The report needed to be clear, compelling, and accessible — without losing the depth of its data. In close collaboration with CCIVS and the lead researcher, I developed the layout and designed a full set of infographics, helping shape the visual language of the publication.

My focus was on valuing the research — giving it clarity, rhythm, and visual form without diluting its substance.

The central design concept was a circular graphic that compiled all the information and made it easier to share insights from each segment of the research.

A decade of data, transformed into a report that’s ready to inspire.
