Guidelines and toolkits – Decolonise project
CCIVS launched a 2.5-year project in collaboration with 10 partner organisations around the world, with one shared goal: decolonising volunteering. Over the course of the project, several key outcomes and practical recommendations were developed — both for organisations and for young people — aimed at rethinking how international volunteering is shaped, shared, and practiced.

Tools to rethink practices and shape projects rooted in peace, ecology, and decolonial values.
The mission on my side was to bring those ideas to life through thoughtful layout and formatting, staying true to the project’s visual identity. The design needed to hold space for important, sometimes complex conversations, while remaining accessible, engaging, and easy to navigate for a global audience.
As part of the project, we created a set of guidelines designed to help members reflect on their current practices — and to encourage new projects centred on peace, environmental action, and decolonial thinking.
Even though the brief was all about the basics, I made sure the design had room to stretch. It’s a visual identity built for evolution — something the organisation can shape and play with as they grow stronger and louder in their mission.
